The worst thing you can do for your spine in the morning is leap out of bed. Give your spine 5 minutes to warm up instead of straining it from the very beginning of the day. Stretch in bed, and then lie on your side on the edge. Drop your legs onto the floor and use your arm (if you are lying on your right-side you will use the left arm) to lift yourself slowly into a sitting position. This technique spares some pain and you start the day in a positive way. Applying these guidelines will help to make you healthier than before.
